Remember a few months back when I noticed the drawing of our vent cover was not sized proportionately? Well well, lookey here. It too low, the pot filler doesn't fit and its JUST NOT RIGHT~ I loved or builder and of course this was all completely fixed (they had to make a new one). But its just funny that no one listened to me as I saw this all occurring.
Why I am posting this? Builders may make mistakes, but they are the builders. They can correct it, recreate it, or scratch the entire thing and start over. It wasn't a big deal, and it was fixed in the long run. In this case, it was their fault and it was no fee to us, the buyer. But had it been perfect and I simply didn't like it, they too would have recreated it and billed me the difference for the change.
For example, after deciding on some appliances, months later I saw some new ones come out and I wanted them. They were more expensive and the builder had yet to actual purchase, or put in the appliances. I upgraded them and paid the difference. There are fees associated with making changes, or their could be. But in our case, this was our dream home and choosing year old appliances was simply not in the cards for us. I wanted the newest and coolest. It was a AIR FRY oven, and to this day I am so happy that I did it. Since I was changing the name brand on one appliance I had to change them all... But air frying in the oven is COMPLETELY worth it!
Anyone else have an air frying oven?
